Early in the Spring The Da Bai Hao Tea Bushes in the mountains surrounding Fuding China on the Eastern Coast of China produce large almost colorless buds that are "Covered In Down" and when dried have a "Silver" appearance.

To keep the Buds in a state as close as possible to when they were harvested they are sun-dried to minimize any oxidation. Our "Silver Needles" tea produces a bright, very pale, almost colorless yellow cup with a clean light vegetal aroma and a distinct flavor & mouth feel. Silver down covers the plump buds of this most famous white tea from Fuding China.
